Peking to Paris
The Peking to Paris motor race started in 1907 where automobiles start at Peking (now Beijing), China, Mongolia, Russia, Ukraine, Slovakia and western Europe to a triumphal finish in Paris for a distance of 9,317 miles or 14,994 km.
The following vehicles were prepared at Howe Motor Works:
The vehicle was received with the engine running on 5 of its 6 cylinders.
After examination it was discovered that a complete rebuild was required.
Howe Motor Works took on the challenge and it now runs as it did in 1923.
